Taking pictures

So, I read that in order to be successful on etsy there is one crucial thing to do - take great photos of your products!

Well...this concerns me since I'm the worste photographer ever!!! I ALWAYS either cut-off the persons' head, legs, arms, or whatever else - the point is that when I take pictures you can bet that some of your body part will be missing!

So, now what? What should I do? My shop is set to launch in a 7 days... :{

I guess I just have to try and try and see what happens...

The Frog and Sheep

  1. Your local community college might offer a 1 or 2 day beginners photography class that can get you started on the basics of composition, lighting, etc. Good luck!

  2. Thanks for your suggestion. I think I'm going to look into soon...but that means I have to get off my p.j. and go do something...

  3. Something else I can suggest is the website

    I'm amazed at what it can do with my photos.

  4. Thanks Jus Shar - I'll check it out :D

  5. cute items, I take all my photos in front of a window so that I get nice lighting, using a flash is just to harsh. how that helps. : )
